About Bee:
I’m a SAHM and WAHM mom to my 2 boys. I enjoy digital everything and connecting with other moms and sharing the wonderful and infuriating experiences of raising children. I have another blog, Mom’s Gone Digital, where I am known as digiMom. Elle and I met in high school, I believe the first time was as we both were constantly trying to get out of gym class in grade 8. LOL We became friends in art class a few years later and decided on similar career paths and went off to college together. After that she followed that fashion career path and I headed in another direction, the tavel business. Eventually we met our future spouses and I moved away, across the U.S. border into NY State to marry my American husband. We don’t see eachother as much as we’d like, especially now that we could share in this motherhood adventure. It would be great to be neighbors. Elle and I are very different, but yet alike in many ways as well, it’s an odd match but it works. I am building my own home business, a photo collage design service, Cherish Collages. I started designing collages after my first son was born because I was taking way too many pictures of him to possibly display all my favorites. It quickly became a hit with family and friends and hence the business was born. Now, with the help of a mom business mentoring group I am working on growing my business to new heights!
About Elle
On a temporary hiatus from the world of fashion and advertising, I find myself on a one year maternity leave caring for my beautiful two-year old daughter and sweet infant son. Although my plans are to return to the crazy world that is the workplace, I currently find the pace of TSAHM to be equally super-charged and filled with just as many interesting characters, divas and drama queens. Think of it as “The Devil wears Huggies!” ; ) My current pastimes include: changing diapers, Play doh, cooking, hiking, yoga, baby massage, photography, planning a European adventure w/ kids in tow and of course, this blog! Yes, I’m that mom who manages to wear stilettos while juggling an infant carrier in one hand and a fiesty two year old in the other. Purely impractical I realize, but it allows me to maintain some distance from the always looming temptation to be frumpy. Instead, my plan is to coin a new term: How about cozy chic? The goal? Find a way to be fashionably comfortable. Don’t worry, I’ve already taken the look for a test-drive and I promise, the heels do take a backseat. I’ll fill you in on the details in my blog. In the meantime, I invite you to hear my adventures, share my tips and hopefully be a part of a great exchange that will help moms everywhere maintain their health, sanity and most importantly, their happiness.
