Aquatastic Toys for Pre-Schoolers!
The Holidays are fast approaching and gift ideas are going to be flying around very soon…I’ve got two more to share with you and I can assure you, they will be hits.
The first is the Aquadoodle. It’s not new, you may even have one of them, we now have two, but for some reason the kids just love this thing when it’s brought out. The newest version is larger than the past ones, which is nice and what could be better than letting them go to town with a drawling tool that is guaranteed not to make a mess or require any clean up! Kids can doodle to their hearts content and then it all just magically disappears and they can start over. The Draw N Doodle is large enough for a few kids to play together, if only it came with 2 pens, now that would be nice. We do have another pen from an older set and once I dug that out, all was well with the world since the boys no longer had to take turns. And a big plus on this one is it does not come packaged with a million and one twisty ties that are impossible to get off, you know, that dreaded task on Christmas morning. I am trying to avoid these.
And a new discovery from the makers of the AquaDoodle, seems they’ve got water on brain…is the Kid Kleen Bath Blizzard. I was skeptical about this one, lets face it, these gadgets often work for 5 minutes and then break, but we’ve been using this one for a week now and it still works like a charm and the kids absolutely love it. The Bath Blizzard is a bubble making machine, literally, you add water and some bubble solution and presto magico you’ve got bubbles spilling out via a waterfall into the tub for about 15 minutes non-stop. Keeps them entertained and gets them clean. Best yet, the bubbles are safe, non-toxic, wheat and tears-free, and hypoallergenic. It does require 4 C batteries.
Both of these keep both my pre-schooler and Kindergartener quite content for long periods of time which is always a plus! Great toys for your list, or to sneak onto the kids list for Santa or Grandma to get. These products are available at all leading toy retailers so you won’t have a problem finding them either.
