A simple trip to the grocery store can end up being so much more, like for instance, a learning experience for my young boys. What did they learn today when we took a break from painting the family room to go grab some groceries? Ahh, so McCain has announced his running mate for Vice President. How timely that he should do so on the day Obama is accepting his nomination. Was it a brilliant move for him, to choose a woman, a mother of 5, to run alongside him? Or does he see himself falling behind the momentum Obama is riding on and needed a big shocker to rein him in? Is there another Cabbage Patch Kid craze on the horizon? This year marks the 25th anniversary of these unique dolls and they’re BACK!!!! Boy does it bring back memories for me. I remember I was in full “playing with dolls” mode 25 years ago when these came out, and oh…that hurts, to even say 25 years ago and remember it, but yes, I do. Of course, the fact that the dolls came out here in the United States before they were released in Canada made it all the more difficult for …

So here’s the thing, I honestly truly do NOT know who to vote for. I quite frankly, don’t like either one of the choices. Obama, from his name to his egotistical, devious smile, and McCain who is older than dirt and doesn’t know who to send an email. These are our choices?????
