Life Gets in the Way…
I know, it’s been awhile hasn’t it. Terribly sorry, but life just seems to get in the way of mommy blogging sometimes. lol I’m busy, really busy…my design business is in full swing and takes up any time not spent fetching sippy cups, chauffeuring, and PB&J sandwiches. I LOVE it though. I’ve joined 3 digital scrapbooking stores to sell my digital products and the photo collage business is picking up again as well. It just leaves little time for much else.
On the homefront, because I am sure you are all just dying to know…drumroll please….Baby(who is 2 1/2) is off of jarred baby food!!!!! Is he eating anything new…well no. I just refuse to buy those jars anymore. He went a week without eating dinner pretty much, didn’t seem to affect him in the least, he was asking to go to bed without supper rather than sit in his chair and have me try to get him to eat. Nice. Now he is starting to eat a few bites, mostly forced bites, but sometimes he opens his mouth on his own. I dread dinnertime now, it’s always a fight, but I am not buying those jars anymore!
Big Boy turned 5 two weeks ago!!!! WOW 5..he only has a few weeks left of Pre-K and then he will officially be heading to Kindergarten..OMG! He acts more like he’s 15 though…seriously, the attitude developing on this kid is crazy! Driving me up the wall. He can be so sweet and then slam you with complete meltdown mode in a split second. The latest bizarre behavior involves REFUSING to flush the toilet, out of nowhere, he’s begun just not flushing or having an attack if we tell him to flush. What is up with that??? One clogged toilet a few weeks ago and the kid freaks out. He also keep saying he does not want to go to school…he loves school and has a blast when he is there, but every morning that he has school, it’s the same routine, I feel sick, I don’t want to go to school today. I thought this didn’t start till high school. I know, I’ve been there, I faked illness to skip school a few times, sorry mom, but I did not start at 5!!! (and I got decent grades, didn’t skip class, till collage at least, and was a good girl ok.)
Off to the dentist, there is more of life getting in the way of things…I hate the dentist.
