This is insane, I mean really. Income is not increasing at the rate that everything else is. Gas prices are crazy and now it seems, every trip to the grocery store is a little more than the week before. I can see plainly that my weekly bill is up $20-$30 over last year at this time…and I am pretty much buying the same stuff since we all know Baby still eats the same jars of baby food he was eating last year. We already eat a lot of pasta…there are only so many ways to fix it! I know there are a lot, but come on here people, can’t eat the every night now can we? It’s cheap though. Maybe we should.

And yet, according the the Powers that Be, the country is not in trouble, not in a recession and everything is just hunky dory. Man, I wish I had listened to my brother and bought a ton of gold a few years ago. And where are we headed…hum let’s see…it’s an election year, incase you’ve been living in a bunker…oh sorry, that’s Dick Cheney’s job…and I don’t think anybody wants any of the candidates we’ve got to choose from, can any of them really clean up this mess? Lovely. Has anyone seen Cheney lately??? Is he still alive? Sometimes, I wonder.
