For moms looking to make a little bit of extra money online, affiliate marketing can be the answer. Not all moms want to necessarily run their own business or work for someone else to make money. Sometimes, it’s just a little extra money and something to do for themselves, a grown-up endeavor if you will. This helps to brand yourself and with wordpress, you can schedule posts, so you could infact write 20 posts in a day and then not bother even looking at your blog again for the rest of the month!

So what can you market? Well, there are tons of things, but you’ll want to stick with things that appeal to your target market. If you are a mom and your blog is about being a mom and your kids and other mom stuff, then your target market is other moms like you and you don’t want to try and sell them things they have no interest in and wouldn’t believe you had an interest in either. Affiliate Fun (promote products of interest to the natural mom market, including ebooks, business guides, etc…)

The Household Helper (promote ebooks that help moms organize, cook, clean, and budget.)

Now when I say easy, I exaggerate slightly…it’s not easy. You do actually have to make an effort, learn the ins and outs of affilate marketing through writing blog posts that sell without a hard sell. You have to build up your blog and a loyalty with your readers, you can’t just sell them things constantly. And it takes time, so it’s not fast easy money by any means, but it can bring in extra income without too much time or effort if you enjoy writing about your journey through life. It can also be a full time job and bring in lots of money, there are people who make a living, a good living doing this. The best part is, it’s costs very little to nothing to start and can be a lot of fun! And you can do it during naptime!!!
