Now as you all know from my blog posts, I am indeed very happy to be home but as home life returns to normal and my old routine settles back in, I can’t help but recall some of the truly memorable moments from my family’s time abroad.  Could I be suffering from a bad case of the ”grass is greener” blues?  When I’m there, I miss here, When I’m here, I miss there.  So here they are, the top 10 reasons why I miss Europe…

So there I was, sitting comfortably on a Lufthansa flight from Germany to home.  As we boarded, we settled into our respective seats; my husband to the left, my daughter in the middle and myself on the right, with my tiny son on my lap.  Next to my right, sat a young French woman with her small son.  We both sat in the row that offered a wall-suspended bassinette - a special request that I was happy to have fulfilled.  I strongly recommend you ask for it the next time you …

Well we made it! After 22 hrs of flying, 3 planes, two buses and a taxi, we’re finally home! Yes, after 2 months of travelling through Europe with my tiny tots in tow, it was time to come home.
