I bid thee a fond farewell dear Elle, I hope the kids behave and cooperate and you have a very enjoyable vacation in Europe! Tomorrow is the big day! Exciting and terrifying at the same time I think. Say hello to the Cinque Terre for me, I miss them so, absolutely gorgeous, remember, head down to Riomaggiore and walk the Via Del Amore, easiest route with the kids and lovely. Take the train the rest of the way. Seriously. Say hello to the Ponte Vecchio in Firenze and the Rialto in Venezia for me as well, and should you have an emergency, look up one of my countless relatives, they’ll help ya!
I’m going to miss you, ya know, you could be like normal people and go away for 2-3 weeks, no need to leave for a year. I jest, it’s really 6 weeks, but it may as well be a year, the summer will be coming to a close by the time you get back and there is still so much to do!

I shall hold down the Mom2Mom fort as best I can without my editor/translator/make it sound good girl.
