true mom confessions

17 May 2007 5 Comments

Have you seen this site yet??? A site dedicated to moms annoymously venting their frustrations or just saying things they might not admit to anybody else in real life. So you go, type in your annoymous comment and then check back and see how many other moms agreed with you, or felt the same way by seeing how many clicked on “me too”. I learned about this from a podcast I listened too the other day, Motherhood Uncensored.

Here is how they describe themselves…

We all have secrets. Things we don’t want people to know because we’re afraid. Afraid of being judged or resented. Afraid of being found out. Afraid of being recognized as imperfect (OR less-than-perfect). Afraid that people in our lives will see us as unworthy outsiders or, even worse “bad mothers.”

True Mom Confessions is the first ever online confessional for moms. A place for mothers to confess anonymously, and to read — and relate to — the confessions of others.

*Motherhood is hard. Admit it.* Reaching out to each other reminds us that we’re not alone. As mothers. As wives. As women with secrets we’re dying to share.

Seems like it’s a good way to vent your frustrations without directing it at anyone and hurting anyones feelings.

Be forewarned, it’s a tad addicting.

I just checked out that site. Very cool! Now that I’ve shared my blog with friends and family, I’ll have to go to that site to confess anything I don’t want them to know!

Exactly Balance, exactly. It’s pretty cool to be annoymous.
