You’re never going to believe what I stumbled upon the other day…  No your eyes do not deceive you, it’s a 14K white gold and diamond [tag]pacifier[/tag].  Actually, to be more specific, it features 278 pavé cut white [tag]diamonds[/tag] and can be engraved with your text of choice.  Yes, this little gem of an example on how to throw away your money, uh…I mean commemorate your child’s infancy, just happens to retail for a mere $17,000 USD! A bargain, right?  Yeah, maybe if you’re [tag]Posh Spice[/tag] and [tag]David Beckham[/tag]!  Actually, all kidding aside, I could see this as being a worthwhile gift for them or a suitable addition to their [tag]baby registry[/tag].

However for the rest of us, who live in a slightly better known place that I like to call THE REAL WORLD, the whole thing just seems more than a bit ridiculous! Not sure about your home, but in mine, pacifiers go missing about as often as socks do from the dryer.  We must go through 2-3 per month.  I have to admit though, I usually end up finding them in the mouths of my daughter’s dolls, in the toybox or under a bed.  Nonetheless, I still wouldn’t want to risk losing something that cost more than my wedding ring on an infant.  Sorry, but even if I had the money, I would stick with good old rubber and plastic.
