Since the day they were born, we’ve strived to implement some sort of a routine. It’s every mother’s dream really. The goal? To better help us plan our glamourous days of managing the household and the errands that come along with it.  
But what happens when something throws it off?  No, I’m not talking about a few hours off, I’m talking missed nap, lots of activity and a full day on the go kind of “off.” Allow me to recount one such occasion and you’ll quickly learn why this Mommy ain’t messin’ with the routine anymore.

A secret society, a club, a group, if you will. You may already be a member and not even know it. There are a few requirements though ladies.
1. You must be a mom
2. You must be married or living with a partner
3. Your husband/partner must be unable to locate the dishwasher under the counter where he places his dirty dishes.

Having children can really make you see the world in a new light, through the eyes of a child everything is so much more magical and interesting. Things we see as obvious or never even think about because they just “are” children question. And then you are left to come up with an answer that will satisfy the curious mind of a child.

Ahh, it’s nice to go away, but it always feels so nice to arrive home. I had a lovely trip “home” to visit my family and friends with my boys. Hubby survived quite nicely home alone and the house is even nice and tidy to boot! I have most everything back in it’s place already since Baby obliged me with not only a 2 hour nap and no crying till we were 5 minutes from home in the car, but a nice nap now as well.
