I too saved a few precious articles of clothing from my children’s baby stages as Elle mentioned in her entry a few days ago. I had a lovely idea to put them to good use, to keep those memories alive, but alas, I have 2 boys and this really isn’t boy bedroom decor.

If you have a daughter though, you may very well be able to use this idea. Take those favorite pieces, perhaps that Lily Pulitzer sundress and place it ever so carefully and artistically in a shadow box, perhaps with a pair of those tiny baby sandals. Shadow boxes with precious girlie clothing pieces are perfect accent pieces to any princess’s bedroom.

And if like me, you have waves of testosterone running through your hallways, perhaps a lucky little teddy bear can sport a precious tiny jean jacket and those first pair of sunglasses. Those tiny first Nikes. Of course, this will only work until your little man is old enough to insist only cars, trucks and dinos are allowed in his bedroom.
